Going to be putting progress pics up THIS thread every single month. Probably around the end of the month or the beginning of the next month, depending. Hopefully my progress will be pretty obvious. Well see. So far I have one from July, then one from the beginning of August, then one from the end of August.

This was on July 5th I believe. Something like that.

I weighed 213 lbs.

Here was something like the beginning of August or something along those lines. Like August 2nd maybe. I believe I was around 205 lbs. Which is down a bit from the first pictures.

My next progress pictures Ill put up around Auguest 30-31 or maybe September 1st. Well see. I am around 200-202 lbs. right now.

Yeah BB agreed man. If I can get down to around 190 lbs. I should be fairly lean. Well see what happens. I am thinking about taking new pics today - cant decide.

Wow, nobody really mentioned the peak on the bi's either. The back is looking real thick too. Some pretty good genetics you got there.

I have been training a total of 6 years, around 1-1.5 years knowing what I was doing. If that. Started training heavy at the young age of 12, which was extremely young. But it didnt stunt my growth at all like many believe.

As you guys know my diet has basically been a lot of junkfood and just keeping my calories around ~3000. So the bottom line is calories in vs. calories out I think. :):)

Thanks orangecrush for the comments about my biceps and back. My back is a big weakpoint for me I am always trying to bring it up. Want HUGE lats...

Thanks for all of the support guys, really really appreciate it. Didnt expect all of the positive feedback. As many of you know my diet has been a TOTAL joke for the past month so its insane that I have made any progress at all to be completely honest.

Monstar what sort of diet did you use to lean out? I know you have tried alot in the past, this seems to be the most sucessful one, time wise and lbm wise

Haha its all in my most recent journal man. Every meal from a month ago until now, etc.

Believe it or not its been nothing but CRAP! Just more or less fast food, and all that - but tracking my calories pretty precisely. I mean more or less keeping a good estimate of how many calories I was taking in each day and everything like that ya know?

Focused on the calories in vs. calories out principle.

Haha yeah my journal is getting pretty long. Everyone said that me calling it my "final" journal was just BS etc. But hey I said it would be my last journal, and it is.

Haha good luck with my diet GB. I dont even know how its worked for me at all, pretty amazing huh? :D:D

Anyways man yeah my chest might have grown, I dont know. Anything is possible. I have been doing 5x5 for around I month I think so that could have done it. Who knows.

I'd say it's a bit more than good genetics. You bust your ass in the gym and it shows.

Got to say though, even though you're about 4lbs lighter in these pics, you looked more defined in the August set. Maybe it's the lighting. Your back does seem to be getting bigger. I'd say it's your best part. Keep it up Mike. Looking awesome. :thumbup:

I ate like you today man. Burgers onion rings...the works...too bad it doesn't have the same effect. :(

Yeah man I dont know I have been eating nothing but sh*t but my weight is around the same. Well actually to be honest the day before I took those pics I threw up and thats why I weighed around 199 rather than 201-203 like I normally do. Its all good.

Yeah eating crap sure is fun isnt it!?

EDIT: I am not sure how much of a role genetics play. I have worked out very hard since I was 12. I cannot say that I knew what I was doing at 12-14 but I worked out very, very, hard. I ate a lot although I cannot say I always ate good. By the time I was 14-15 I had pecs and biceps and all that. And some decent delts. So its not like I was completely lost getting no results at all. I was just following Flex magazine and sh*t.

Great diet though seriously I think youll like it a lot no doubt. Lots of fun especially with the big carbup meal, etc.

looking real good dude..i just compared your first pic in this thread to you last...awsome difference..your chest work is definatly working, and the abs are cutting up nicely..maybe after i finish my bulk cycle and start to cut, i can look as good as you!

Thanks a lot man. I am trying to improve my back big time. Its a big weakpoint in my physique right now. Hopefully by 2003 it will be a strong point.

I think that monthly progress pics has seriously helped out a lot. It gives me a chance once a months to assess my weakpoints and everything like that. I really think that its an idea that everyone should give a shot.

Hey thanks a lot TT! Appreciate the very very kind words. I have not really been cutting at all actually. If you check out my jounral youll realize that I have been eating nothing but sh*t, but keeping a general idea of my calorie intake thats all. Seems to work pretty damn well, dont ask me how. Must be the fast food, haha.
