Any of you do cardio while bulking?

Do you do it just to keep your heart in shape or other purposes? So you don't gain too much fat or what?

I am bulking and i do cardio simply cuz my basketball season has just started and basketball means a lot to me if possible more than lifting.:)

Keeps my conditioning from getting too bad. I find my lifting is better with a little cardio thrown in.

not like it stops if you don't do cardio, unless of course, you're dead...

Nope, I hate cardio with a passion. Getting cut for me is gonna be hell cuz of the cardio (even more so than the strict dieting).

Unless you consider the walk from my car to the gym cardio, I do no cardio when bulking.

Not doing cardio can have negative effects, that I knew...but I've learned more since starting this class...
The cardio will help keep your heart in shape by keeping your VO2max up if not increasing it a little bit... albeit, not to much though if you're tryin to bulk cardio 2-3 times a week wont' affect it that much. I'd say throw in a little bit just to stay in cardiovascular shape. ;) When I started to cut this summer it was hard gettin back into regular cardio for me... I hadn't done a regular program of cardio for over a year! :eek: Thus, to keep you from undergoing the hell of gettin back into it that I did, I suggest you keep it up.

me too, I hate the damn stuff & used to think it takes away from your gains but then I met this big f'k off dude who did like cardio every day whilst bulking.

Plus I wanna get into boxing more seriously :)

Great cardio for boxing is jumping rope. You going to do kickboxing or just boxing?
