View Full Version : Foot and mouth and supermarkets lack of meat

02-25-2001, 04:38 AM
Just come back from the supermarket and got the shopping, and was told that there would be shortage of meat for next week, due to all this contreversy over the foot and mouth disease.

If this is true looks like i will be living on tuna for the week.

Yep i heard about that Rob that people are not being allowed to leave their houses, the rugby match between ireland and wales at the weekend might be called off cause they think that people will transport i over to Ireland, and maybe even elections later on in the year might be affected.

02-27-2001, 06:58 AM
I must have 2 whole beef in my fridge.
As a bodybuilder of Canadian, I'd like to present you what kind of food we eat here..

02-27-2001, 07:04 AM
hey, i will be in the uk in just over a week. I'm sure i could fit one or 2 hundred lb's of meat in my new 'Meatlocker 2001 suitcase'...that is if someone bids the right price?!?! Bidding starts at $3/lb....

02-27-2001, 07:58 AM
What the...

Hey man that suitcase thing was my idea - read the previous posts.

Note to self: work on the beef import idea some more.

02-27-2001, 01:03 PM
as funny as it may sound Horse meat consumption has gone up dramatically in Europe since the mad cow thing.

02-27-2001, 03:25 PM
Alrighty guys and gals, i'm off to eat a Dog. Actually, i read in a post at MM.com that cat food is quite nutricious...

~toddles off and eats a dog~

02-27-2001, 05:20 PM

Today I shall eat three hamburgers. Oh, I had 3 yesterday too and all last week. I have about 20 of them in my freezer right now. MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM, beefy!

02-28-2001, 07:33 AM
Speaking of experimenting , wonder what the tuna master himself tastes like Frankster u dont have any objections to cooking your master do you>?

02-28-2001, 07:47 AM
You don't want to approach the Tuna Master or even think about it as a matter of fact. He WILL eat you for lunch. Especially lately, he's more grouchy than ever since they're saying that the tuna contains mercury.

02-28-2001, 08:33 AM
Frankster: will you post your avatar on a post please cause i can't peoperly work out what it is supposed to be! I fink i rememebr you saying a cat though right?...

02-28-2001, 08:59 AM
No rob its Yoda form Star Wars:), who i'm going to eat

02-28-2001, 10:21 AM
Its not Yoda! and i'll post his pic tonight so you can all see who to avoid in a dark alley if tuna runs low. If i think about it tonight, ill post it, but i gotta warn you: viewer discretion is advised!

02-28-2001, 10:51 AM
At first i thought it was a little guy being sand blasted!

But i fink i can see some eyes in the back ground. Like a creature behind a little man or something...i give up.

02-28-2001, 11:55 AM
All I see is Yoda when i look at your avatar!

Scary little buggar...........

02-28-2001, 02:06 PM
Chicken why do you not eat chicken it quite nutritish and not really effected by the foot and mouth disease in most products except som with gelatine etc.
Well my freezer full of vension and chicken so luckily foot and mout can not get to my vension in the freezer.
I have plan fellow brits lets go to a infected area stand around for a while then go on holiday to the USA and we will soon stop their comments about enjoying beef. plus we can get a nice sun tan in florida as it snowing today. who is with me.

02-28-2001, 03:20 PM
In all honesty Body, i rarely eat beef anyway so...

But your idea is great though, but you do it and i'll just stand here and watch ok?:)

I've just recived word that it has hit Northern ireland now too:(

02-28-2001, 07:42 PM
First it was mad cow disease

Then it was foot and mouth disease

Where does it stop???

This sort of thing would never happen in the US

03-01-2001, 05:46 AM
Two cases of it found in Germany:(

It'll be in the States before long i bet....just wait...:(

03-01-2001, 03:08 PM
this sort of thing does not happen in the USA of becuase your government is more corrupt than our parliment so you will not get to hear about it.

03-01-2001, 03:38 PM
