the girl gives him the pills to numb the pain right before they execute him. There is no reason not to assume they carry on with the execution.

Well nobody give away the ending of this movie's plot but in Omega Man (Charleston Heston) I remember him being shot and laying in the fountain just bleeding into the water.

Can't wait to see this new movie.

Movie must be killing at the box office.

I live in a small town and this is the first time I've seen a movie sell out.

I always feel let down when I see the actual monsters in movies... they always look corny.
Hehe I'm the same way I love watching zombie like movies I dont know why i just love them. There is this movie remake of "Night of the Living Dead" 3D on my ON demand cable that I'm going to order.

Yeah thats how the book went. But your not reall sure if they are numbing pills or if they are suicide pills. I like to think the latter

I just saw the movie last night, and i thought it was very good. I am a huge fan of this book and have been waiting for this movie to be made for a while. THey were going to make it in the 90s with Arnold as Robert.

There realy wasnt that big differnce between the book and the movie.
Main differnce was the creatures in the book they were more of a vampire of shorts. Some of vampires where more human and some where more animal like.

In the movie they were more like monsters that cant go into the sun. Some of the monsters seemed human like and there was almost order among them, so that was keeped intack.

It doesnt really matter what the monsters are in the story line because it really isnt a monster movie. Its a movie with monsters in it, but the story is more about robert coming to grips with everything. I think alot of people didnt know that and were expecting a scary movie.

I didnt like the ending. I WONT GIVE IT AWAY, But they kindda made it happier yet they still keeped the story line intake as to why its called I Am Legend. So it wasnt that bad, i guess.

I give this movie 4.8 out of 5. Will Smith was very good in this movie! I will probley go see it again in IMAX

I agree. Some of the reviews said: "monsters are not scary enough." It sucks this movie is getting bad reviews from people who don't even understand the movie.

the movie was terrible, the book sounds great but standing alone as a movie it was trash.

85 minutes in robert neville meets anna. before that he made very little contact with the monsters. castaway plus 28 days later doesnt equal a good movie. the ending was the most disappointing part. i went with 6 other guys and not a single one of us had one positive word to say about the movie.

    worst ive ever seen.

He made very little contact because they didn't know where he lived. In the book, the role of Anna is played by a person actually spying for the monsters so that they can find out where he lives and get him.

Like i said before the movie isnt a monster movie, its a move with monsters in it.

The isnt actually more contact with the vampries in the book, they just kindda taunt Robert from outside his house.

Saw it last night at the IMAX thought is was great, ending could have been better but, it satisfies the title of the movie. I thought it was worth every penny of the ticket price.

"I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. For what I do is not the good I want to do; no, the evil I do not want to do--this I keep on doing. Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.
So I find this law at work: When I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law; but I see another law at work in the members of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within my members. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? Thanks be to God--through Jesus Christ our Lord!"

It was ok at best. A lot of the reviews said non-stop action from start to finish. I thought it was long periods of him being crazy with only a few action scenes.

To me, that's what made it good. I thought they did a damn good job of catching the emotion of being the only person left in the world but still being limited in almost every manner.
