Ha, took a little nap after drinking a good amount of unsweetened tea and water, weights back up to 348. It's all good though, looking for 342-344 by next Thursday morning, should be alright.

Thanks KB, with squats and DL always feel slow, but after watching them a few times they seem to be alright. Looking forward to my bench session tomorrow.

You've gotten a couple comments already on the pics, but I agree you are looking leaner. I had a guy up against the ropes once in an over/under, got my hips high and he threw me so high I thought I was never going to come down. Judo can be very effective.

Thanks for the comments John. Just was a blast, I really enjoyed my time in it. Very effective to be able to manipulate someone else's power against them.

Crappy bench session, awesome accessory session.
I couldn't sleep last night either, my sleep has absolutely sucked lately, gotta find a way to make it better.

Bar x 10 x 2 sets, quick and smooth, felt damn good actually.
    135 x 6 Flew up, strong.
    185 x 3 Again, moving quick
    230 x 3 Moved pretty quick
250 x 1.5 I lost form, lost tightness, lost everything on the 2nd rep. My elbows flair, my shoulders rolled up, just felt stupid bad.
250 x 1.5 First rep flew, was good, same issue on 2nd rep though, gotta find a way to stop this idiocy. Don't know if it was lack of sleep and lack of ability to remain focused on the lift itself, but this was pissing me off.

190 x 3 x 4 sets with 75 seconds rest in between sets. All quick, strong lifts.

    Add mini bands
    135 x 1
    155 x 1
    170 x 1
190 x 1 Moved slower than the rest, but no stopping, no problems.

Scapular Retraction superset with triceps extensions on the ground
    140lbs scapular x 15 ss w/40's triceps extension x 1 set
    140lbs x 15 x 35's x 12 x 4 sets

    Front Raises
    35's x 6 each arm
    45's x 6 " "
    55's x 6 " "

Dumbbell presses + hold at lockout.
25's x 3 reps when "go" command given for 3 minutes, resting in lockout position, never resting the entire 3 minutes. Holy shit this sucks. 1:55 in to it, 25's just would stay up there, at all. Went to 15's for the last minute and pushed through strongly. Felt good to finish this.

I guess overall the workout wasn't bad, just pissed, REALLY pissed about the benching. I'm exhausted, but I want to go right now and do 250 x 2...just to prove I can do it to myself. But...I'm too tired. I've got to rest, and get back in the pattern. Dealing with past injuries and still screwing with my head, all in all considering, I think it was an alright session. Just sucks. I did get 2 comments from some guys in the gym today on my progress both on weight loss and bench. One is just a jacked guy that works out with Brian Dobson, the other is a WR for the Dallas arena football team, whatever the hell their called now, the Vigilantes? It's nice to have the regulars who look like they could walk on a stage actually talking to you, instead of just walking by, feels good.

Man, it is just so hard to make progress on all three of the lifts at the same time. At least once you get past the beginner ranks. Be happy your squats and deads are flying up.

Thanks for all the support guys, I definitely feel that today was chalked up to lack of sleep. If we have a bad week next week, I'll rethink that, but for the sake of my sanity, it's lack of sleep. Hhaha.

I just finished up a benching session feeling just like you did. The main thing is consistently putting in the work. Some days it's just not there. Good job!

When watching MMA, the judo guys are my favorites. The throws are so awesome to watch, fast and explosive. Much more impressive to watch a guy throw somebody on their ass than watching some of those guys jump guard.

I always get excited when a MMA fighter has a judo base. It's fun to watch them, since they don't use the typical BJJ/wrestler base and it's something different.

Thanks Nick. Felt good, just upset about not getting the bench, but it's all good, we'll get it. And like john said, I'm making good progress on DL and Squat, should be happy there. Plus my bench HAS shot up about 20lbs in a month and a half.

Yeah, this weekend I'll be back under the bar, same place some time, regardless of what happened. We'll have bad days, I think this shocked more becuase it's my first bad day on Bench since starting with my coach. But...we all have them. I'm gonna make sure and not try to go heavy on just 3 hours fo sleep next time, haha.

I like K1 and Pride more than UFC for this, it seems there are more TRUE to their style fighters, probably not so much MMA style, but it's a lot of fun watching a true judo fighter against a BJJ guy. What's the other fed...dream? Where they have that huge payout tournament? Like that.

Yeah, I wish I could just be a robot sometimes, and lift what I wanted when I wanted, but sadly it doesn't work that way, haha. It's a good feeling.

Yeah, I'll be back there. I think 250 x 2 was my previous PR for doubles, then I got injured and had to take 2 weeks off benching,

Today I started back on ECA. Feeling it right now, so I think cycling off of it did some good. Was on it for 3 weeks, off for 2 weeks while using Animal Cuts, which was decent for stripping water weight off. Woke up today in HORRIBLE pain in my gut. Took a major league piss, felt great.

    Weight: 346.6

Squats tonight. Got 380 for a triple, and 405 for a double, gonna suck. I may add new knee straps for 405 x 2.

405 for a double is solid lifting mark! I'm missing my ECA stack as well, I was on for around 8 weeks and I've been off for 5-6.

Oh and the first piss of the day is always a great feeling lol
