    Forum Competition! Test Your Endurance for 4min!

    The challenge is from Martin Rooneys new book, Ultimate Warrior Workouts.

    How many push-ups, chin-ups, sit-ups, and dips can you do in four minutes?

    The Competition

    As many push-ups as you can do in one minute.
    Rest 15 seconds.
    As many chin-ups as you can do in one minute.
    Rest 15 seconds.
    As many modified sit-ups as you can do in one minute.
    Rest 15 seconds.
    As many dips as you can do in one minute.


    The Rules

    - You must provide a video
    - There should be NO breaks in the video
    - You need to provide a total for each of the four minutes and an overal total reps (so 40 pushups, 65 situps... etc)
    - You need to properly time them - either have a partner using a stop watch or use a beeping stop watch
    - The order of the exercises must be the same as above

    Prizes

    Yes, they have to be in that order and in terms of modified sit ups, lets use the following video as an example of how the sit ups should be done (this is Nate Green doing the exact same workout):

    haha this is Serious business Daniel!! I'll just be doing it for fun since I am terrible at pullups. I might get 17 in a minute lol...

    What are the rules for push ups/chin ups and dips? down to 90? chest to the ground? all the way down for chin ups?

    Same as in th video with Nate, so close to the floor for push ups and all the way down for chins - no half rep stuff

    Hah, me too. I have been doing chin complexes lately where I do 3 sets with 10 sec rest inbetween each. Fat Bar Wide Grip pull ups, normal chin ups and then close grip chin ups and I was getting 12, 5, 2 and I reckon that was about a minute in total so I'm probably gonna fall in the 15-20 region for sure!

    What numbers did Nate Green perform in the video? I am not able to watch Youtube at work...

    are we supposed to keep kipping to a minimum? noticed mr. green was a little bit, not horrible or anything

    We're not gonna be too picky about form, but proper kipping isn't allowed.

    Try and keep form reasonably good... but at the end of the day when you;re going all our and getting tired, we're not gonna start picking apart form too much... If it;s really crappy and we think it skewed the numbers, we'll not accept it though.

    Which is pretty darn good if you ask me.

    I was trying to work out what I could do and I was coming out about 100, but I could be off and probably get 40 ha ha. Saying you can do 20 chins in a minute sounds fair enough but when you can only do 12 @ BW and you've done a minute of push ups before, it;s another thing I guess lol

    At the end of the video, he says someone got 150+ reps
