Thanks gents. It was alot of volume and it hasnt been warm in the gym in forever. We were all sweating thats for sure. Friday will be fun. Its 92.5% single with gear on squat. I might try to take that number in briefs and knee wraps only which will be 700.

Thanks guys. 700 is 700, its heavy but not too bad from the months of bands and chains we used to do.

There the video. Like i said its a bit high but i always get to depth in the meet so thats all that matters.

Haha i love them too man thats why i cant bench anything in the shirt off the chest! Trying to upload the video of it but i have a macbook and an android phone and my wifi doesnt work so idk how ill manage that lol.

Been trying to clean up my diet because my weights creeping up again. Today was a fresh start. Breakfast was two flour wraps with 4oz grass fed beef, 2 tbps guac, and 1 egg/eggwhite each. Lunch will be 1-1.25 lbs chicken and 2 cups of white rice with coconut oil.

Tonight is max deads off 4" mats. I really want to be over 675 in my suit. We will see.

I agree. My issues is i LOVE pasta and pizza so i will never give that up. CBL def. got me in great body comp. I usually dont advocate egg whites but i go through too many whole eggs so i'm just going to supplement with egg whites and use them in shakes too.

Theres a plate of mini oreo cheesecakes that the boss brought in a few desks up from mine. Mother fuckers are looking right at me. Sigh...

You ever looked into intermittent fasting? Makes dieting a lot easier since it's harder to eat as many calories in an 8 hour window.

I've been doing the 16/8 fast/eat split on the weekends lately and I kind of like it. I swear I look a little leaner after the weekend is over. Going to try it full time next cut.

Ive tried it. Didnt really do much for me because i just ate more anyways haha. I'm not too concerned right now as i have about 5 pounds to spare before i'm a full 242. Just cleaning things up a little should be fine.

    Cube DL Week 3 Max

Deadlift off 4" mats (plates 4" off the floor)

    135 x 10
    135 x 5
    225 x 3
    315 x 3
    365 x 1
    405 x 1
    455 x 1

add metal squatter (double ply, my single didnt come in yet)

    495 x 1
    585 x 1
    655 x 1
    705 x 1

very happy with that pull, the goal is keep pulling 705 as we take mats away.

    Sumo SLDL (no belt)

    405 x 6 x 2

    Pause DL (no belt)

    225 x 10 x 3

    CSR

    2p x 10
    3p x 10
    4p x 10

    Planks

    BW x 30 sec x 3

I have an issue with ben and jerrys ice cream. I cannot stop eating it. I try to make myself feel better about it and think "well it has no HFCS or vegetable oil so its healthy" lol. I guess a cup or two at night after a days worth of clean eating isnt a big deal.

"I guess a cup or two at night after a days worth of clean eating isnt a big deal."

Alright man I say this out of love, but when I see you complain about your weight and BF and then I see shit like this and you saying "I cant give up pasta!" it makes me grind my teeth and want to round house kick you. If you have trouble with weight gain then THESE are the little things you need to change to help with that. If what your doing right now isn't conducive to your weight loss you need to try new things and weed out the bad choices. Doing big cuts throughout the year will effect your strength for sure and also diets are meant to fail and/or end at some point. A lifestyle change with your eating is what needs to happen if you want results. I LIVE IN BURLINGTON VT, so Ben and Jerry's is everywhere, and probably even cheaper than RI lol.. but I fight that urge.

Do it for your abs sir..

Oh.. and great pressing, I wants a fat bar.

Kevin - I appreciate your thoughts. Losing the fat isnt the problem, nor is eating a little bit of pasta. I just have this mental thing where i think i am alot fatter then i really am. I bet i'm right around 18-20% @ 238 which isnt too bad IMO. In my mind i think i'm 30% and a fat fuck. Honestly, i dont eat nearly the amount of junk food, pasta, or pizza that i used to eat, so i have in a way cut back on those things. Life is too short to omit a few foods that i enjoy. Ive changed up my eating for the better in regard to my past brother. Burger king every day. Cake, soda, ice cream at night. I was up to almost 300 at 15 years old. You basically know the whole story.

If i took the advice that MANY people have gave me which is eat clean, treat yourself every now and then, and not worry about the number on the scale, i would be better off. Basically recomp over time.

Fair enough, didn't know it was a mental block and not an actual weight problem.

I guess i make it out to be a problem, because there are time where i can indulge too much. A whole pizza instead of 4 pieces, a pint of ice cream instead of a few cups, you get the drift lol. I will never be ripped or very lean. Its just not in my genetics nor a desire lol.

I come from a situation where both my younger and older brother are pretty damn fat, my older brother being 6'2" 275 lbs (not the good kind). So I could have gone either way but being a midget and still wanting to get laid I made a choice I had to cut out the things that make me blow up, cause I put on weight fast too . From what I saw in your squat video your not big at all bud, just Italian as fuck.
