Cards, what kind of dumbbells do you have at your gym?

My gym has these Ivanko ones that are a HUGE pain in the ass. The weights (bells) are not welded on, they are just little weighted plates stacked onto each other, which makes it VERY difficult to handle them as the mass of the dumbbell is farther away from the handle, which makes them more unstable. HUGE pain in the ass, and I get like 10#+ on my dumbbell pressing when I go to a different gym.

I'm not sure the names of them, but they're solid blocks. It makes them a bit more comfortable than the ones you're describing. Regardless, I train alone and it's always a pain to do DB Press, but I love it.

You'll get through the injury... nice and easy. How come you bought Vibrams? Can't train barefoot in your gym?

Yeah, it's a process. It's better than it was, but I can still feel it when going wide. I can train barefoot in my gym, but I was looking for a new pair of gym shoes anyways. I love them already.

Eh, it's all good. I'm happy with th 405. The weights are definitely smaller at the golds gym in syraucse. I don't know how much smaller or if I could really prove it, but it was a different ME experience and 405 was definitely my max that day.

lol took me 3 tries, but I pulled it.

I know exactly what you mean. The gold's gym that I go to have two different size 45 plates. The old school ones are the biggest, and then they have these gay grey ones that are like an inch lower from the ground. So annoying.

Thanks, OR. I hope so, too. I always leave the gym dripping wet, so I know I'm at least putting in effort.
